Connect BubblaV to Muse, Meta’s AI agent. Ask Muse how your chatbot performs, which questions it could not answer, and what visitors ask most. Muse can also add knowledge and change your chatbot’s settings for you. The connection uses OAuth, so you do not need an API key.
The BubblaV connector is submitted to the Muse connector directory and waits for Meta’s review. When Meta approves it, you find it in Muse under Settings → Connectors. Muse is available in the US and Canada.

Why Connect Muse?

  • Answers from your own data: Muse reads your BubblaV reports, conversations and knowledge base. A browser cannot see this data, because it is behind your login.
  • Close content gaps: Muse finds the questions your chatbot could not answer and adds the missing answers.
  • Change settings by chat: Update the chatbot instructions, greeting, colors, forms and Help Center articles.
  • Read only if you want: Give Muse access that can read but not change anything.

Prerequisites

  • A BubblaV account. You can sign up for free during the connection.
  • A Muse account in a region where Muse is available.

Connect BubblaV to Muse

1

Open the connector

In Muse, go to Settings → Connectors and select BubblaV. You can also ask Muse a BubblaV question, for example “How is my BubblaV chatbot doing this month?”. Muse then offers to connect.
2

Sign in to BubblaV

Muse opens the BubblaV sign-in page. Sign in, or create an account. If you have no chatbot yet, choose I don’t have a website to create one from text or a file.
3

Choose the chatbot and the access level

Select the chatbot (website) to connect. Then choose the access level:
  • Full access: Muse can read your chatbot data and make the changes you ask for.
  • Read only: Muse can read your chatbot data but cannot change anything.
Select Authorize, then Return to Muse.
4

Try it

Ask Muse “Which questions could my chatbot not answer last week?” or “Give me this month’s chatbot report.”
An API key named Muse is created in your BubblaV account for this connection. Muse can only access the chatbot you selected.

Approvals in Muse

Muse asks for your approval before it uses a connector tool. You can choose Allow once, Always allow or Deny. Muse asks for approval every time it uses a sensitive tool (see the table below), and you cannot set these to Always allow.

Tools

Muse receives the tools below. Read tools never change data. Write tools change your chatbot. Sensitive write tools delete data permanently, or let your chatbot send visitor data to an outside web address. With Read only access, Muse sees only the Read tools.

Results that complete later

Some write tools start work that finishes after the tool returns:
  • bubblav_add_knowledge, bubblav_upload_knowledge_file and bubblav_sync_ticket_to_knowledge queue the content for indexing. It becomes searchable within a few minutes.
  • bubblav_add_crawl_url and bubblav_update_sitemaps queue a crawl. Muse checks progress with bubblav_get_crawl_status.

Errors

When a tool cannot run, Muse receives an error message that it can tell you. Examples: a plan limit (PLAN_REQUIRED for Pro tools on other plans), an item that does not exist, or a missing argument. With Read only access, a write tool returns an error that tells you to reconnect with Full access.

What Muse Cannot Access

To protect your visitors’ privacy and your account’s security, Muse is limited. These things still work in Claude, Cursor and the BubblaV dashboard:
  • Visitor contact details: Muse never sees a visitor’s email, name or country, or your captured leads. Reports show only totals. BubblaV trims conversation, report and question results to what Muse needs, and masks email addresses and phone numbers inside chat messages.
  • Flows: Muse can list and read flows, but it cannot create or edit them, and it cannot see flow run history.
  • API keys and secrets: Muse cannot create, list or revoke API keys. It never sees a tool’s secret key or a flow’s webhook secret.
  • URL scraping and tool call logs: not available.
  • Admin tools: BubblaV staff tools are never available in Muse.

Rate Limits

MCP calls are counted per BubblaV account, for each billing period, across all your websites: When you reach the limit, BubblaV answers with HTTP 429 and a Retry-After header until the next billing period starts. See your usage under Settings → API Keys in the dashboard.

Disconnect or Change Access

To disconnect, remove BubblaV in Muse under Settings → Connectors, or revoke the Muse API key under Settings → API Keys in the BubblaV dashboard. To connect a different chatbot or change between Full access and Read only, revoke the key and connect again.

Troubleshooting

  • The connector is visible after Meta approves it. Muse is available in the US and Canada.
  • You connected with Read only access. Revoke the Muse API key in BubblaV and connect again with Full access.
  • Revoke the Muse API key in BubblaV, then connect again and select the correct website.
  • URL scraping is not available in Muse. To teach your chatbot a page, ask Muse to add it with bubblav_add_crawl_url.
