Connect BubblaV to Claude through the BubblaV MCP Server. Ask Claude to check your chatbot’s performance, find the questions it could not answer, teach it new knowledge, and change its settings. You do not need an API key. BubblaV works in claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude mobile, Cowork, and Claude Code.

Why Connect Claude?

  • Analytics on demand: Get a full report for any date range, summarized in plain language
  • Close content gaps: See what your bot could not answer and add the missing answers
  • Manage knowledge: Search, add, and remove knowledge, upload files, and add pages to crawl
  • Review conversations and leads: Filter, read, and search chats and captured leads
  • Tune the chatbot: Change the persona, greetings, widget appearance, forms, flows, and custom tools
  • No API key: OAuth handles the connection

Prerequisites

  • A BubblaV account. You can create one during the sign-in step
  • A Claude plan that supports connectors

Connect BubblaV

1

Add the connector

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors and search the directory for BubblaV. Or select +, then Add custom connector, and enter https://www.bubblav.com/mcp.
2

Authorize BubblaV

Claude opens the BubblaV sign-in page. Sign in, select the website (chatbot) to connect, and approve. If you do not have a website, choose to create a chatbot without one.
3

Try it

Ask Claude “How is my chatbot performing this month?” or “Which questions could my chatbot not answer last week?”
After you approve, BubblaV creates an API key labeled Claude in your account for the connection.

What You Can Ask

Claude receives BubblaV’s tools automatically and picks the right one for your request. A representative subset:
For the full tool reference, see the MCP Server developer guide. For ready-to-use prompts, see AI Agent Workflows.

Permissions

Claude asks before it runs a tool that changes or deletes data, such as bubblav_delete_knowledge or bubblav_update_widget_appearance. Read-only tools, such as reports and searches, can run without a prompt. You can change this per tool in the connector settings.

Privacy

  • One connection gives access to one website (chatbot)
  • Conversations and leads can contain your visitors’ names, email addresses, and messages. Claude sees this data when a tool returns it
  • BubblaV logs every tool call. See Integrations → MCP Settings → Audit Logs
  • See the Privacy Policy

Rate Limits

MCP calls are metered separately from your chatbot messages, on a rolling 30-day window: When you exceed the limit, requests return a 429 with a Retry-After header. Check your usage under Integrations → MCP Settings in the dashboard.

Disconnect or Switch Website

Revoke the Claude API key in your BubblaV dashboard. Then connect BubblaV again in Claude and pick the website you want during sign-in.

Troubleshooting

  • In claude.ai, open Customize → Connectors, select BubblaV, and select Connect.
  • In Claude Code, run /mcp, select bubblav, and sign in.
  • Revoke the Claude API key in BubblaV and connect again. Pick the correct website during sign-in.
  • Check usage under Integrations → MCP Settings, wait for the 30-day window to reset, or upgrade your plan.
